Je me souviens des belles plantes, du Bauhaus et des papiers peints

Series of sublimation-printed fabric tablecloths
110 x 260 cm each
Production Maison de l'Architecture Occitanie — Pyrénées, Toulouse, France
Invited by the Maison de l’Architecture Occitanie - Pyrénées, the collection of tablecloths was used during meals. Women architects, graphic designers, writers, photographers and directors of cultural structures were invited to share a meal and talk about their experiences. By combining visual studies of plant forms with research into the representation of women in the history of art, I aim to show how male domination has been able to define the feminine and its criteria of beauty by associating them with floral ornaments.
This tablecloth collection project takes its roots in my work on wallpaper with floral motifs.
