Troubleshop is both an installation and a format for participative workshops around costume design that questions identities and gender norms. The project focuses on performativity through clothing, incorporating the collective, play and the unknown into its creative process. The workshops evolve around play protocols to experiment with clothing and explore new territories in the geography of our bodies beyond normative boundaries.

The installation is like a dressing room, a threshold space between fiction and reality. The staging and the spaces created—spaces for play, work, fitting and shooting—invited participants to enter a universe of fictionalisation and rewriting of the self.
